Participants of the SENSE Art Club have been creating murals on canvas to be displayed in the halls of the school. The students have been studying various forms of graffiti art as inspiration. While graffiti often involves the unauthorized marking of public space by an individual or group, it also can be understood as an expressive art form. Pictured here are some of the participants of the Club, along with one of their murals that is now proudly displayed in the school’s front office. The after-school Art Club is led by the school’s new art teacher, Jerome Goff.
