The first semester awards ceremony will take place in the gym during the following times:
Kindergarten: 8:30-9:00
1st: 9:05 - 9:35
2nd: 9:40-10:10
3rd : 10:15-10:45
4th: 10:50-11:20
5th: 11:30-11:50
6th: 12:00-12:30
7th and 8th: 12:30-1:00
Dismissal for ALL Students will start at 1pm, immediately after the Awards!

13 of our Students will be performing with the Children's Choir. Each Student has 1 ticket for an adult.
Additional tickets can be purchased online at door up to 90 minutes before start time. (If still available.)

The SENSE Charter School Food Pantry will be open tomorrow Thursday, December 7th. We will be open from 8:30-10:00 am and then again from 3:30-4:30 pm. The pantry is only open to the families of SENSE. Please enter through the double door off of the back alley. We encourage you to bring your own shopping bags. You will receive more points.

On December 12th, the 6th grade Music classes, 7/8 Guitar Elective and Glee Club will be presenting a concert in Mrs. Whittle’s classroom. Since these concerts are during the school day, they are required performances and will count toward the student’s Q2 Responding to Music grade. If a student has an excused absence they will have an alternate assignment to complete. If a student has an unexcused absence, or chooses not to perform they will have an F for the concert. The Mobile Dentist is on coming to SENSE on Tuesday, December 5th and Wednesday, December 6th.
Your student SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BROUGHT HOME A PERMISSION FORM for your signature. Please return it as soon as possible.

In Mrs. Fisher’s 4th Grade class they have been reviewing Unit 2 in math with a Jeopardy game before taking their Unit 2 Assessment! These two ladies were the winners today with a total of 6,800 points!! Way to show mastery over those skills!!

Fourth grade has been working hard the past few weeks writing their persuasive essays and today we got to celebrate their published essays!! We celebrated with cookies and juice. #weareauthors

This week fourth grade has been studying fact and opinion. They made board games with a partner about Baby Animals. For their scrimmage today they are playing another groups board game to discriminate between their fact and opinions.

Today in Social Studies Mrs. Fisher's 4th graders began their Salt Dough Maps of Indiana! Today they traced Indiana into the bottom of their box, formed Indiana out of their salt dough, and began locating Indiana's major cities by marking them with toothpicks!

Fourth Grade students in Mrs. Fisher’s class decomposing words into affixes and root words using graphic organizers to determine the meaning of the words.
